Stone Creek Outdoor Classroom and Community Park

The Stone Creek Outdoor Classroom and Community Park is located on an abandoned coal tipple located at the intersection of State Route 606/US 421 in the Stone Creek community in Lee County.  Various groups, agencies, and volunteers sponsored the  reclamation and restoration of this site into an outdoor classroom and community park.  The site consists of a walking trail, a wetland, educational signs, and numerous plant species and features for people of all ages to enjoy.
